Privacy and data use

UBIO Watch is an internal service-monitoring and on-call management tool for UBIO staff.

Google sign-in

We request your Google account identity, name, email address and email-verification information to authenticate you and restrict access to authorised UBIO Workspace domains. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or calendars. The app uses a signed session cookie lasting up to eight hours.

Monitoring information

Authorised staff can configure teammate names, email addresses, phone numbers, Slack identifiers, on-call rotas and service endpoints. The app records checks, incidents, operator actions and notification attempts. Other authorised staff can view and manage this information.

Processing and retention

The app runs on Cloudflare. When configured, notifications are sent through Slack, Twilio and Resend using the destinations selected by staff. Google provides authentication. Service checks retain the latest 60 results per monitor; resolved incidents and their notification records are retained for 30 days. Configuration remains until changed or removed by an authorised operator. Active incidents remain until resolved.

Google profile information is used for authentication and identifying operator actions, not advertising. Avoid placing customer personal data or credentials in incident descriptions.
